The Goa Wellness Festival 2018 provides a confluence of Wellness & Therapy experts in a 5-days package allowing you to connect with your self, initiate a wellness regime and learn the use of super foods and herbal remedies.

At the Wellness Fest, we initiate the rejuvenation process with a Vatta-Pitta-Kapa evaluation of your body-type and a Wellness assessment of your current health. This allows us to determine the food patterns and the amount of physical & mental activity that needs to be prescribed.

What’s Happening during these 5-days:

A typical day at the Event starts with an early morning (5:30 am) practice of Satsang which includes meditation, chanting & breathing sessions. A day starting with self reflection sets your mind in the right frame and helps you pace the rest of your day just right. This is followed by two sessions of Yoga which are planned based on your level of flexibility and activity. The morning practice has a built-in flow to it helping you grow a discipline that you can take back home with you.

A 45-minutes of breakfast is scheduled to help you energize and plan for the day. Although your 5-days itinerary is pre-fixed at check-in, this personal planning helps you strengthen your commitment to go through the wellness transformation that you seek. Two more hours of Yoga sessions follow after the breakfast break. These sessions are designed to be slightly more intense for strength building & agility training.

Guests may be scheduled to attend therapy sessions during the Yoga hours based on the health evaluations at check-in time. These therapies are mandatory and you are requested to show-up at the pre-designated time to enjoy these sessions. No slot changes will be accommodated for late arrivals or missed slots.

We break for an hour-long lunch at 12:00 pm with the intention that food is to be savored and not always gulped down as a “Power lunch”! The lunch hour also gives you the opportunity to interact with Nutritionists to discuss questions & findings on food and intake habits.

The second half of the day is dedicated to personal enrichment activities which include discovering ways to relax your mind, disconnect from the urgency of the day-to-day world and curate a hobby / passion other than “working for a living”! Guided activities like Pottery, Cooking and Healing are provided, but you are free to practice any personal enrichment activity of your own (music, dance, game etc.,) without being a hindrance to other guests.

A short refreshment break is organized at 4:45 pm allowing you to prepare for an evening of recreation and local folk art. Dinner is served at 7:00 pm followed by social interaction till 9:30 pm. For the benefit of all guests, we have a hard-stop at 10:00 pm and guests are advised to retire to their rooms for bedtime before this.

Food is an integral part of the Wellness Festival and hence a meal plan is designed and served based on individual evaluation. Therapies recommended during the session are geared to trigger healing a specific ailment or general well-being. All guests are advised to co-operate and follow the guidelines and food plans to see positive change in their lifestyle.
